'Oh Buoy, Oh Buoy, Blue' Poster| Folkestone Harbour Art

Oh Buoy' explores the relevance of the harbour in a historical and contemporary narrative. The working fishing harbour is an integral part of the history. That fancy fish dinner being served up beachside, let's hope it came from one of these boats huh!

The beauty of Folkestone is clear for every tourist and local Instagrammer in the town to capture, oh and it is. But sometimes, whilst we all desperately scramble to anchor or create personas linked to the energy of the town, the history and context slowly erodes like orange rust from our focus.

Depicting the day the Burstin crumbled, as featured on the front page of the Herald.

Created for my stall at 'Under The Moon Art Market' and designed to create a unique art experience for the fraction of the cost. As a traditional print artist, working with limited edition Giclee prints, this see's me create work that is affordable for me and the buyer.
