I'm a huge fan of anything vintage Folkestone, and graphic design. 

And whilst doing some research for an exhibition I stumbled across some old ticket stubs, some books and lots of history. I wanted to celebrate the week in 1990 that say over 8,443 people use the lift of the the Aug bank holiday weekend. This print is in celebration of that. 

It is not linked to the official Leas Lift organisation, so please don't buy this thinking it will support that. Please do go support that, but also support artists like me.

My Folkestone posters are an opportunity for me to engage with my audience in a much more personal setting. That of artists and art lover. I believe in breaking down the more traditional forms of how artists and communities come together.

This poster series allows me to upcycle and reimagine rarer digital works and make them available in colours, sizes and prices points that are accessible to everyone. The thrill of buying limited edition art should not be limited, and it's up to us as artists to respond.
