90’s nostalgia and Folkestone are never far from my creative influence. And with this piece I make 8 year old me very happy. Based on the original design for the 90’s play mats. town Planner squeezes in the modern day town, over the existing roads and paths. To take on a new local identity. There are observational comments in almost every part of this. Regarding how I see the WHOLE Towns development. But is more a marking in time of the place we all love. The colours and the shapes take me back to a simpler time.
