'Love is in the Air' - Folkestone Art

I have wanted to find a view that gave me as much of Folkestone as possible. From the top of Castle Hill (near J13 of M20) you get a 360 degree view of the place. Zooming in allowed me to capture not only the original viaduct, but also how it rides above the town and works its way down to the end of the harbour arm. The Pink/brick colour is taken from the roofs of the victorian terraces that make up this town. Plumes of green punctuate the rows of homes. Modern new builds, with grey roofs contrast against the historic. To finish this off it features the iconic  ending by the Red Arrows of Folkestone Air Shows past. Creating a love heart in the sky over the coast.

A new print and a very detailed approach from me. I love the simplicity of the colours. It took forever to make sure i had the right level of detail, but not too much. Also available as a Green edition.
